# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • No boiling water means no steam burns or kitchen chaos—just set it and breathe easy.
  • The shells peel off so cleanly that you'll actually enjoy the process instead of fighting with them.
  • You can make a week's worth of hard-boiled eggs in one batch without heating up your whole kitchen.
02 -
  • The ice bath is non-negotiable—it's what makes these eggs peel like a dream instead of sticking and tearing.
  • Egg size matters: medium eggs need a minute less, extra-large eggs need a minute more, so adjust if you're not using large eggs.
03 -
  • Try rolling a peeled egg gently on the counter under your palm before eating to make it easier to halve—the white separates from the yolk more cleanly.
  • Some air fryers run hotter than others, so if your eggs come out overdone the first time, drop the temperature by 5 degrees and the time by a minute on your next batch.
