# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 2 minutes.
02 - In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix well.
03 - Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
04 - Place the bread slices, buttered side up, in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Work in batches if required.
05 - Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce onto each bread slice. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the sauce.
06 - Add chosen toppings such as pepperoni or vegetables. Finish with a sprinkle of dried oregano or Italian seasoning.
07 - Cook at 370°F (190°C) for 6 to 8 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and bread is crisp.
08 - Carefully remove from the air fryer, allow to cool briefly, then serve warm. Garnish with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together faster than delivery, and the bread gets genuinely crispy instead of soggy like the oven version.
  • You can throw whatever's in your fridge onto it, so it never feels boring or repetitive.
  • Your kitchen smells like a pizzeria for basically no effort.
02 -
  • If your bread slice is thinner than a quarter-inch, it will burn before the cheese gets properly melted; thick bread is non-negotiable for this to actually work.
  • Softened butter spreads evenly and fries differently than cold butter, so take it out of the fridge a few minutes early and watch how much faster everything browns.
  • Serve these the second they come out of the air fryer, because the moment the cheese cools, the texture suffers and that crispiness you worked for disappears.
03 -
  • Don't skip preheating the air fryer—those two minutes actually change whether you get crispy or just warm.
  • Keep the sauce modest and the toppings thoughtful, because overloading is the one way this actually fails.
