09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
10 - Pinch of salt

→ Topping

11 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
13 - 1/4 cup (25 g) sliced almonds (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish or tart pan with butter.
02 - Toss sliced apples with lemon juice and spread evenly in the prepared dish.
03 - Whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until fully blended and smooth.
04 - Pour the custard mixture evenly over the apples in the dish.
05 - Drizzle melted butter atop the custard, sprinkle with brown sugar, and scatter sliced almonds if desired.
06 - Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until custard is set and edges turn lightly golden.
07 - Let the tart cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
